Wealth Meadow includes Budget, Invest, and Retire planning tools. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how deletion and third-party processing work. By using Wealth Meadow, you agree to the practices described here.
When you create an account, we collect your username, email address, password hash, account status, email verification status, and operational account metadata such as login and session information. If you use a paid service in the future, we may also store the related billing status and payment-provider identifiers.
You may enter person names or labels, birth dates or ages, retirement ages, life expectancy assumptions, marital or household relationships, location, employment details, income assumptions, Social Security assumptions, pension assumptions, and other household planning details. Do not enter information for another person unless you have permission to use it in your household plan.
Budget stores income sources, expenses, debts, mortgages, goals, due dates, recorded spending entries, healthcare expense flags, start and end dates, categories, budget history, and related notes or settings you enter.
Invest and Retire store investment plan names, portfolio groups, investment item names, account-type labels, balances, contribution amounts, growth assumptions, future growth-rate changes, withdrawal start dates, projected balances, retirement plans, withdrawal strategies, withdrawal allocation settings, tax assumptions, income sources, other assets, housing assumptions, and projection snapshots.
Retire may store healthcare cost assumptions, whether healthcare is included in a linked budget, Medicare and IRMAA assumptions, ACA Marketplace assumptions, coverage-stage information, and related projection breakdowns. These are planning inputs you provide or edit; Wealth Meadow does not verify eligibility for healthcare, Medicare, ACA, or benefit programs.
If paid services are introduced, payments may be processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers. Stripe may collect and store payment information under its own Privacy Policy. Wealth Meadow may retain customer, checkout, billing-status, and transaction identifiers needed to administer a payment or preserve historical records.
We may process IP address, browser information, pages visited, timestamps, rate-limit events, session cookies, theme preferences, notification logs, and server or application logs for security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, and operation of the service.
Wealth Meadow uses essential cookies and limited browser storage:
We do not currently use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies in the application.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your budget, investment, retirement, tax, healthcare, or household data for third-party advertising.
Wealth Meadow sends email through an email service provider configured by us. Emails may include account information, support or billing messages, and, if you enable them, budget or spending notifications. Because email is not a secure vault, avoid enabling detailed financial notifications if you do not want budget or spending details sent to your mailbox.
We use third parties only as needed to operate the service:
These providers may process information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy practices. We do not currently send your data to an AI provider or third-party advertising network from the application.
We retain account and planning data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and maintain security. You may request account deletion through the app or by contacting us.
Deleting your account removes the active Wealth Meadow data associated with your account from the application database where technically supported. Some information may remain for a limited period in backups, logs, email records, Stripe records, support records, or security records. We cannot delete records held independently by Stripe, your email provider, or other third parties, but we will stop using active application data after deletion except where retention is legally or operationally required.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing of your personal data. You can manage notification preferences in your account where available. To exercise privacy rights, use our contact form.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including hashed passwords, access controls, and encrypted connections where configured. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Wealth Meadow is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect account data from minors.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on the site. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
